We had lunch at Baretto di San Vigilio, in San Vigilio in Città Alta, and it was a good experience. Simple but well-made dishes, a relaxed atmosphere, and a truly evocative location. An ideal place for an informal lunch break, enjoying tranquility and the view.

We were at this bar-restaurant in San Vigilio, a truly unmissable stop in Bergamo Alta! The place is easily reached by funicular or a pleasant walk, and once you get there, the view truly leaves you speechless—a breathtaking panorama over the whole city. We had an aperitivo outside, with a glass of wine and a spritz, accompanied by several appetizers (for a small surcharge of 2 euros). Everything was of excellent quality and well-presented. It's just a shame that the appetizers were served automatically to the other tables, while we had to ask for them: a small detail that slightly spoiled the experience. Overall, however, the service was courteous and the atmosphere was relaxed. A perfect place to enjoy an aperitivo with a view and experience the magic of Bergamo Alta

Elegant place with a beautiful view, kind and helpful service, slightly slow towards the end but that was mainly because the restaurant was full. Very good quality-price ratio, the octopus was incredible
