Today we take you with us to discover a corner of Venezuela in Nichelino: @arepa_streettood We started with the classic tequeños with stringy mozzarella... one leads to another! Then it was time for the patacones: a fried plantain base with pulled pork, scamorza cheese, tomato, salad, and the legendary Guasacasa, a homemade avocado-based sauce, like all the sauces on the menu. Next, the real stars: the arepas. One with pulled pork, scamorza cheese, tomato, plantain, avocado, and Guasacasa... The other with beef, onion, tomato, plantain, avocado, and always our favorite sauce! We couldn't miss trying the empanadas, fragrant and filled with goodness. And to end on a sweet note... the quesillo, a typical Venezuelan dessert, obviously homemade. Everything is artisanal, prepared with care and passion, from the sauces to the arepas. Honorable mention also for the drinks: Frescolita and Maltín, sweet, refreshing, and 100% Venezuelan! The place is small, but super welcoming, also thanks to the kindness and attentiveness of the staff. A journey of authentic flavors, without taking a plane
