  • Flavors of the World: Scenic AYCE, varied buffet but not "from the world".

Very large and impressive location, very beautiful design, the food is good but there's better, all-you-can-eat formula and buffet.

Sapori del Mondo is an AYCE (all-you-can-eat) restaurant on the outskirts of Turin, with a truly spectacular location: enormous, well-maintained, with a bodyguard at the entrance, which suggests a luxury venue. In reality, the formula is entirely buffet, while the waiters only serve drinks at the table. The variety of food is extensive: Italian, Chinese, Japanese dishes, desserts, and even some unusual offerings for an AYCE, such as oysters, lobsters, and crabs (in limited quantities). Both ready-made dishes and raw ingredients to be cooked on the spot are available. The price is in line with other all-you-can-eat restaurants. Personally, I was a bit disappointed: from the name and advertising, I expected a true "world cuisine," while the offering is more reminiscent of a classic AYCE buffet with some extras. For the same price, I prefer a traditional AYCE sushi, but for those who love Italian, Chinese, and Japanese cuisine, it can still be an interesting experience.
