We spent an unforgettable day exploring Kamakura with a private guide, who led us to discover one of the city's culinary gems: the Kamakura Karari restaurant. Here we enjoyed what was undoubtedly the best tempura we have ever tried. We ordered a fish tempura dish accompanied by rice and a Japanese draft beer, creating a perfect combination! The tempura was light, not greasy, incredibly easy to digest, and had an impeccable flavor. The staff was kind and welcoming, in an atmosphere reminiscent of the authenticity of old Japan. If you are in Kamakura, you can't miss this culinary experience.
